wow I can't believe how long it's been since I actually wrote in this journal. Forever.

And well, that probably won't change.

I'm now at the journal bigtimejapan where I post fairly regularly and actually do interesting things! (sometimes). I work as an assistant English teacher at a middle school in Shiga, Japan now.

I'm trying out the livejournal app on my phone, so here's hoping it works.
So Chief had his leg removed on Monday since it was cancerous. He is doing really well - he's already walking on his own! He still has to be babysat right now, but once we get him used to the little dog boots we got him (they're for mountaineering and rescue dogs, they'll give Chief traction on our tile and wood floors) he'll be able to be let on his own.

What the hell is this?
Well lost_land is a challenge community that was inspired by those that came before it. With LOST off the air, it’s a way to keep the love alive. There are three teams: Team Survivors, Team Others, and Team Dharma Days (the best team ever!). After you’re placed on a team you’ll compete in different LOST themed challenges for points. The challenges can range from graphic challenges to pure and simple luck.

Why should I join?
Because it's going to be a lot of fun! This is my first time doing one of these types of communities and I'm already enjoying it. You get to meet new people, learn how to do new things (although don't worry if you don't know how to do a challenge, you don't have to participate in every one), and you get to still enjoy the glory that is LOST even though it is, sadly, over.

So I'm going to do something I've never done before: sell some of my manga.

Reason for sale: Making room for new manga/need money for Japan trip
Condition: I am a serious collector and have been for the last ten years: books are in excellent condition. Most have been read once, but I'd be impressed if you could tell me which ones they are.
Manga comes from smoke free house with only one cat (books are kept in bookshelves, so cat hair should not be an issue).
Shipping: depends on what you buy, where you are, and how fast you want it.
Cost: the cost of each set is listed next to the pictures for it, but please feel free to make me an offer. I will also consider manga trades if anyone would rather do that.
